Fans of Van Morrison will not be allowed to purchase alcohol when they watch him perform on his upcoming UK tour.
A ban is being imposed because the 63-year-old finds it “off-putting” when fans visit the bar during his performance.
A spokesperson for the artist denied that Van Morrison's past battle with alcohol addiction was behind the decision.
Top price tickets for the singer's tour, which begins in Brighton on Friday (September 19th), cost £105 each.
A spokesperson for the Brighton Dome told the Telegraph that the singer's request was “not hugely common” and said the venue had played no part in the decision.
You can purchase tickets for the tour through Gigwise here or by calling our ticket hotline on 0871 230 1098 for more details.
