US rapper Kanye west has re-recorded 'Love Lockdown', the first single from his new album, at the request of his fans.
West initially preimered the song on his blog last week but it was greeted by a mixed reception from his fan base.
In a new post, West said that fans “prayers have been answered. There's a new version of love 'Love Lockdown' coming.”
The rapper has re-worked the track with new taiko drums and also re-sung the vocals. “It's being mastered now,” he told fans, adding that it would be available soon.
'Love Lockdown' is the first track fans have heard from West's fourth studio album '808's and Heartbreak', which is due out in December.
West has yet to blog extensively on his arrest last week at Los Angeles International Airport.
The rapper and his road manager were charged following a row with a photographer.
