US rapper 50 Cent has declared himself to be the biggest hip-hop touring artist in the world.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, said he had a bigger international presence than fellow hip-hop stars Eminem and Jay-Z.
“I'm the largest hip hop touring artist period. Eminem is the biggest rap artist on the planet, I'm the biggest touring artist because I travel places,” he told the BBC.
“He won't actually go to each one of those territories to be in front of all his fans. Not that he doesn't love them but he won't make the sacrifice of travelling as hard as I do.”
Jackson also revealed that he would like to headline festivals, mirroring Jay-Z's appearance at this summer's Glastonury Festival.
“For artists to have an opportunity to come out there, it's good positioning,” he said.
“Jay-Z didn't have a lot of records to have a big international following, so for him to get out there and be the actual headliner, it was good positioning on his part.”
Jay-Z's booking at the festival was widely criticised before the event in June.
