US rapper Kanye West has broken his silence following his arrest at Los Angeles International Airport yesterday morning on suspicion of felony vandalism.
West and his road manager, Don Crowley, who was also arrested during the incident, were both bailed yesterday afternoon after posting a $20,000 bond.
West and Crowley were captured on video smashing a photographers camera at the American Airlines terminal as they waited to board a flight to Hawaii.
After realising they had been caught on video, Crowley then pursued the film-maker and grabbed his camera, causing exterior damage to the device.
In a post on his blog, West wrote: “We back in the lab!!! I'm cool with the paparazzi. This guy wasn't cool. I gotta work now... I'll rant later!”
A video of yesterday's incident has since been published by the celebrity website TMZ.
West's arrest came days after he performed a new track, 'Love Lockdown', at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.
