Madonna fans have hit out after transport problems meant many were left stranded as they tried to leave her concert at London's Wembley Stadium last night (September 11th).
The concert, the second of only two UK dates on the singer's Sticky & Sweet world tour, was watched by 90,000 people, including a host of celebrities.
But Gigwise has been inundated by fans who endured problems leaving the concert – and were also left unhappy by the singer's set list.
A number have also complained about Madonna's late arrival on stage.
“My fifth Madonna show and a bit of a disappointment,” on Gigwise reader, Chris wrote.
“I think only those at the very front had the benefit of some atmosphere, the show just wasn't big enough for Wembley Stadium - perhaps the 02 would've been better for this one...”
Vicky, who said she “loved” the concert, voiced similar concerns about the size of the venue and said her night was “completely ruined” by transport trouble.
She wrote: “The night was completely ruined by the fact that she started half hour late and the train station shut early leaving HUNDREDS of people stranded in the middle of Wembley with no way to get home.”
Madonna's 27-date world tour supports her new album 'Hard Candy'. You can see highlights from last night's show below, or more extensive coverage here.

- Six of us went to see Madonna at Wembley last night. The show was fantastic with great effects, lighting and dancing. Madonna is an A1 performer - what we could see of her that is! The venue was appalling, far too big to provide any atmosphere and the sound was awful. The worst bit was being left stranded in Wembley with 1000’s of others after they closed the train station - a big thanks to Madonna for her considerate 40 minute late arrival on stage - we won’’t f

- I was sold a ticket on the side at the very back, the sound was absolutely terrible all bass and reverberations.I saw nothing that happened on the stage as the stage was enclosed. The screen was in front and to the side of me so no view there.I think the least you expect is to see and hear, whether you like the contents is irrelevant. She arrives half an hour late, meaning thousands of people were stranded. I left at 10.10 as I had enough.I took the day off work as well so I am not happy at all.

- Yes was at concert upset at late start - acoustics in wembley poor -set wasn’t big enough for wembley atmosphere would have been better at O2 -a good performance but maybe more oldies for the fans - transport by tube finished too early to get home -

- I totally love madonna but do think the show was just not big enough for wembley. I could hardly see anything. There was so much she could have done. And the nightmare journey home...it took me 4 hours!!! People were stranded having to get taxis! Madonna turning up late and the transport system not being able to deal with the vast amount of people that were on the tubes, trains and buses at the point of time is just insane. I’m just exhausted!

- THe other thing i wanna stress...IS.....MADONNA LEAVE THE GUITAR ALONE....I REALLY WANNA SMASH THAT THING....SO NOT INTERESTING TO WATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!
