Paul McCartney Moves Forward With Concert In Tel Aviv
Paul McCartney has resisted pressure to cancel his upcoming concert in Tel Aviv will go ahead and perform.
"I was approached by different groups and political bodies who asked me not to come here,” said McCartney to Israel’s Yedioth Ahronoth.
“I refused. I do what I think, and I have many friends who support Israel.”
The Beatles were previously banned from performing in Israel in 1965 with the possibility that the band would corrupt the morals of Israeli youth.
