The Australian singer is to perform for 2000 guests at the opening of the Palm Jumeirah manmade island on November 20th.
The total cost of the private function, which will also feature a huge fireworks display, is said to be £16million.
The island, which is shaped like a palm tree, features 43km of coastline and includes a hotel and private homes.
