Pete Doherty and a surprise special guest will headline London's Brixton Academy this autumn, according to reports.
The gig, which will take place in the next six weeks, is being organised by John Green, who was responsible for the recent Moonfest Festival.
Doherty's band, Babyshambles, were banned from performing at the event last month after police won a court ruling saying they could “incite violence”.
Green told the Wiltshire Times that the London gig will be exclusively for people who had bought tickets for the day Babyshambles were due to play Moonfest.
"I've spoken to Pete today (Wednesday) and we're looking at putting the gig on at the Brixton Academy in London,” he said.
"On the same bill will also be a very special artist - a huge name. But I am waiting for conformation so, at the moment, I won't give any names."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Doherty will play a one off show in Coventry later this month.
