Courtney Love Slams 'Urban' MTV Awards And Jonas Brothers 'Chastity'

Courtney Love has slammed last Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, which were dominated by Britney Spears.

In a message on her Myspace blog, the widow of Kurt Cobain said the annual ceremony, which was hosted by her friend Russell Brand, had become too “urban”.

“I didn't go to the "VMAS" as we used to call them but they've gotten so ****ing Urban I don't know I guess Van Toffler thought (an MTV executive) he was being edgy,” Love wrote.

“And he WAS by letting my darling prince Brand host the MTV awards- but there not the 'VMAS' and they never will be again.”

Love also attacked America's latest heartthrobs the Jonas Brothers, whose chastity rings were the subject of Brand's jokes during the ceremony.

“I feel horribly rude that my desire not to watch ass holes with chastity rings- oh for ****s sake I've had some great conversations but not ONE has ever ended in an Orgasm, y'all need some pussy and some cock and shut the hell up,” she wrote.
