A 47-year-old man has been charged with assault after he attacked Oasis guitarist on stage during a concert in Canada.
Daniel Sullivan pushed Gallagher, who fell heavily onto his monitor speakers, during Oasis' headline set at the Virgin Festival in Toronto.
After finishing the band's set, Gallagher was treated in hospital for a suspected fractured rib and ligament damage.
In a video of the incident - which can be seen below - Gallagher's brother, Liam, can be seen attempting to retaliate.
Organisers of the festival called the incident a “security breach” – but didn’t elaborate on how the fan made it on stage.
A statement on the band’s website suggests that Oasis’ show in London, Ontario today (September 9th) may be cancelled.
