Oasis' Noel Gallagher Hospitalised Following On Stage Attack

Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher was taken to hospital after being attacked on stage by a fan in Canada last night, it’s emerged.

Gallagher was treated for a suspected fractured rib and ligament damage after falling heavily onto his monitor speakers.

The guitarist, who was headlining the Virgin Festival in Toronto, was pushed from behind by an unnamed individual who broke through security.

The individual was tackled by security guards and was later charged with assault.

In a video of the incident - which can be seen below - Gallagher's brother, Liam, can be seen attempting to retaliate.

Organisers of the festival called the incident a “security breach” – but didn’t elaborate on how the fan made it on stage.

A statement on the band’s website suggests that Oasis’ show in London, Ontario tomorrow (September 9th) may be cancelled.

    • What a twat you are James, never heard of Dimebag? Its all fine hating a band/artist, but no one deserves to be attacked, no matter what profession they undertake.

    • I thought security was tightened, yes this was bad but eventually someone will get what Dimebag Darrell got if they don’t tighten more
