Guitarist Jimmy Page has played down recent reports which revealed that he and other members of Led Zeppelin had been recording new material.
"We're not actually really recording. We played at the O2 (Arena in London last December). That was our reunion. It's nothing as monumental as what people are speculating and projecting,” he told reporters at the Toronto Film Festival.
Last month, Jason Bonham, who stood in for his late father, John, during the bands reunion show, said he had spent time in the studio with Page and bassist John Paul Jones.
"I've been working with Jimmy and John Paul and trying to do ... some new material and some writing. I don't know what it will be, but it will be something,” he told Detroit radio station WCSX.
Calls for a full Led Zeppelin reunion tour have been consistent since the bands reunion show - which attracted 1 million applicants for just 9,000 pairs of tickets.
But Page added that further shows would have to feature frontman Robert Plant, who has spent the summer touring with singer and songwriter Allison Krauss.
“If you're going to do a reunion, you need four members," he added.
