Amy Winehouse has apparently asked for 48 bottles of whisky on her rider at this weekend's Bestival festival.
Winehouse, who is headlining the event on Saturday evening (September 5th), is said to have “stunned” organisers with her demands.
“It’s common for artists to make requests for food and beverages before they arrive,” a source told the Sun newspaper.
Chief festival organiser Rob Da Bank revealed earlier this week that a back up plan was in place should Winehouse pull out of the festival.
The plans follow her last minute withdrawal from a festival in France last week because of illness.
“Everyone is really excited about getting Amy to perform here, and naturally there are now fears she is planning something wild,” the source added.
“With Amy’s record this can mean failure to perform or giving a shambolic performance. Whiskey is better than heroin — but not 48 bottles of the stuff.”
Winehouse will headline Bestival, which begins today (September 5th), alongside Underworld and My Bloody Valentine.
Her last festival appearance came at the V Festival in August.
