Oasis guitarist and Manchester City fan Noel Gallagher has said he is available for any after show parties that the football club's new owners may want to throw.
The Multi-billion dollar Abu Dhabi United Group agreed a deal to purchase Manchester City on Monday (September 1st), making it instantly one of the richest clubs in the world.
Gallagher, who is a life long fan, said his loyalty had been rewarded by the takeover.
“Well, can I just throw my hat in the ring here and tell him that I'm available for any after show parties he wants me to play at if he's throwing that type of money around,” Gallagher told the BBC.
The guitarist also berated fans of the club's main rivals, Manchester United, saying he was pleased to “swindle” them.
"It'll be nice to know that every gallon of petrol a Manchester United fan buys is going into our kitty,” he said.
