The newly dubbed Hydro Connect festival on the banks of Loch Fyne, Inverary, Scotland was hit by torrential rain in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The persistent rain turned the lush green festival site into a mudbath within hours. One reveller told Gigwise: “I do festivals and have done for years and have never experienced such chaos.”
Despite the torrential weather, this did little to dampen the spirit of the event as a whole which featured headline performances from Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, Kasabian and Sigur Ros.
