Black Kids hailed the “beautiful” people of Jersey as they performed on the main stage at Jersey Live this afternoon.
Drawing one of the biggest crowds of the day, the band also managed to make the sun appear during their eight song set.
Kicking off with ‘I’m Making Eyes With You’, the group were noticeably tighter following a long summer playing the festival circuit.
Other tracks from their debut album ‘Partie Traumatic’ which got aired for the crowds included ‘I’ve Underestimated My Charm (Again)’, ‘Hurricane Jane’ and ‘I’m Making Eyes At You’.
Reggie Youngblood, the band’s frontman, was his usual charming self during the group’s set, telling the crowd: “This is our first time here and we’re…delighted. You live on a beautiful Island.”
As the son retreated behind the clouds once again, Black Kids unleashed their crowd favourite – and set closer ‘I’m Not Gonna Teach My Boyfriend How To Dance With You’.
Stay tuned to Gigwise this afternoon for more news ahead of The Prodigy’s headlining set this evening.
