Foals paid tribute to the topless festival fans as they performed on the main stage at the Jersey Live festival tonight (August 30th).
Performing as the sun set over Trinity sports ground, the group treated fans to an energetic set packed with songs from their debut album ‘Antidotes’.
After a lengthy instrumental introduction, the band soon engaged with the crowd via a storming rendition of ‘Balloons’.
The band’s second guitarist, Walter Gervers, then paid tribute to the fans liberalism, telling the crowd that he had seen “more naked women [at Jersey Live] than any other festival this summer.”
As darkness fell over the site, the band’s set grew with intensity thanks to extended versions of fan favourites ‘Cassius’, ‘Hummer’ and ‘Red Socks Pugie’.
The action continues on the main stage later with a performance from We Are Scientists.
