Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson Voted 'Worst Hotel Guests Ever'

Amy Winehouse has been voted the worst hotel guest ever in a new survey, beating the likes of Michael Jackson and Britney Spears.

Winehouse topped the poll for stays in three different hotels, including one at the London's Riverbank Hotel last year, which allegedly ended in thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Other musicians who have provided a nightmare for housekeepers include Britney Spears, Axl Rose and Michael Jackson.

Jackson, who turns 50 on Friday, featured in 12th place for the infamous publicity stunt at a Berlin Hotel in 2002 which saw him dangle his baby out of a hotel window.

Lauren Highland, a spokeswoman for Concierge, the travel company that carried out the survey, said actions of celebrities should make people less concious in hotels.

“They're the sort of clients that make us feel better about ourselves after we've pestered the concierge for last-minute Broadway tickets or complained about too-firm pillows,” she said.

Other celebrities who appeared in the list included Johnny Depp and Nicole Kidman.
