Madonna kicked off her Sticky and Sweet world tour with an emphatic show in Cardiff on Saturday night (August 23rd).
The singer, who will play a total of 27-dates, honoured her latest album, ‘Hard Candy’, during her two hour set.
‘Candy Shop’ and ‘4 Minutes’, which both feature on the record, were enthusiastically received by fans.
But Madonna didn’t forget about her past either, playing re-worked versions of tracks including ‘Vogue’ and ‘Music’.
The tour, which calls at London’s Wembley Stadium next month, features four sections: 'Pimp', 'Old School', 'Gypsy' and 'Rave'.
Each section takes in a different era, beginning with a mashed up homage to 1920's deco and modern day gangsta pimp.
