Sheryl Crow has announced she will be giving away free music to encourage young people to register to vote.
A tactic she is calling the Tupperware party approach, the singer will be giving away her album ‘Detours’ to the first 50,000 people who register three friends to vote according to The Associated Press.
"I hope people wake up and emotionally engage in issues”, states Crow in an interview.
The album giveaway is a kickoff for the Rock The Vote voter registration drive.
