Slipknot have been forced to cancel their appearance at this weekend's Reading and Leeds Festival after drummer Joey Jordison broke his ankle.
In a statement, the band said the cancellation, which includes a host of dates in Europe, was “with huge regret and disappointment”.
“Cancelling shows is never an easy decision and we apologize to all our fans, friends and family for not being there to throw down with you,” they added.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Slipknot announced this morning that they will play an extensive UK arena tour in December.
The tour supports the release of their new album, 'All Hope Is Gone', which is out on August 25th.
