Metallica will play a cheap show at the O2 Arena in London on September 15th, it's been announced.
Tickets for the concert, which will be priced at £5 each, are only available to fans who register on the bands Mission Metallica website.
The concert in London will follow a similar show at Berlin's O2 world three days earlier. It's the first time that a band will perform at the new German venue.
All the proceeds from the tickets, which are expected to go on sale shortly, will go to local charities, the group said on their website.
Metallica release their new album, 'Death Magnetic', worldwide on September 12th.
As previously reported on Gigwise, as well as traditional formats, the album will also be released simultaneously on the next edition of Guitar Hero.
