Amy Winehouse is to undergo a course of rehab near to the prison where her husband is serving a 27-month prison sentence, it's been reported.
The singer is said to have booked herself into the Focus 12 clinic in Bury St Edmunds, which is the same facility that treated comedian Russell Brand.
Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, was moved last month to the nearby Highpoint Prison.
He was jailed in July after pleading guilty to charges of assault and perverting the course of justice.
Winehouse's father, Mitch, is quoted as telling the Sun newspaper that his daughter's latest attempt at rehab “is a very good idea”.
“If she can get clean and still see Blake it can only be good,” he added.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Winehouse was booed by sections of the audience as she performed at the V Festival last weekend.
