Russian waitress Katia Ivanova claims she and Ronnie Wood will make a fresh start when the Rolling Stone leaves rehab next week.
Twenty-year-old Ivanova told the News of the World that the guitarist is in love with her and not his wife of 23 years, Jo.
“Ronnie loves me and it’s not about money. I’m looking forward to a fresh start with him. It’s sad we’ve caused people pain,” Ivanova said.
“It’s hurt his family and my family too, but we’ve just fallen in love.
“Ronnie is moving on. But I’m not taking someone’s husband, he’s leaving. I never pursued him.”
Reports of an alleged relationship between Wood and Ivanova first surfaced last month in the Sun newspaper.
Shortly afterwards, Wood was admitted to rehabin order to battle his problems with drink.
A spokesperson for the star said at the time that his friends and family “look forward to his recovery”.
