Four songs purported to be on the new U2 album have appeared on the video sharing website, YouTube.
The tracks were apparently recorded by a fan who overheard frontman Bono playing them to friends at his villa in France.
According to the Sun, the tracks include ‘Sexy Boots’ which is thought to be the first single from the album.
As previously reported on Gigwise, U2’s new album, which has been produced by Brian Eno, is thought to be entitled ‘No Line On The Horizon’.
The group have already denied reports that they are set to play a residency at the O2 Arena in London in support of the album, which is expected in early 2009.
