Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty reportedly spent eight hours in an antiques shop in Reading earlier this week.
The singer purchased a Union Jack flag, pictures frames and a selection of vintage clothes when he called into Fanny's Antiques.
Jo Cannon, a local, told the Sun newspaper that Doherty was genuinely interested in “the stuff inside.”
“Most people have a snigger at the name of the shop,” she joked.
