Amy Winehouse, Mighty Boosh Team Up To Rebuild London Pub
Amy Winehouse and the Mighty Boosh's Noel Fielding teamed up last night to help raise money to re-build the Hawley Arms in London.
The pub was a favourite of both stars and had become synonymous with the music scene in and around Camden before it was was gutted by fire in February.
Impromptu performances were also given by Razorlight's Johnny Borrell and Babyshambles bassist Drew McConnell's side-project Helsinki.
Fielding, who compared the evening, praised the pubs history and the people who run it.
“When I first went down there, we weren't that famous as the Boosh and they were all very kind to us and very nice,” he told the BBC.
"We had lots of fun, and as we got a bit more famous they never hit on me for anything and I always had a good time down there."
Winehouse was a late arrival at the fundraiser and only spent ten minutes in the pub following a row with the DJ.
