August 14, 2008 by Jason Gregory

Janet Jackson's infamous wardrobe malfunction at the 2004 Super Bowl has entered the English dictionary.

Pundits coined the phrase after Jackson's breast was exposed during her half-time performance alongside Justin Timberlake.

90 million people saw the incident, which happened after Timberlake the line "gonna have you naked by the end of this song", and 542,000 people to complained to CBS.

The phrase will now appear in the latest edition of the Chambers English Dictionary.

As previously reported on Gigwise, a $550,000 fine against CBS television, which was imposed after the broadcaster screened the incident, was recently dropped by a US appeal court.

Three judges said the Federal Communications Commission watchdog had "acted arbitrarily and capriciously" in issuing the fine.
