Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty will talk candidly about his relationship with Kate Moss and drugs in a new book.
The as-yet-untitled novel, which is due out in November, features interviews with Doherty and the rest of Babyshambles, the band's drummer, Adam Ficek, has revealed.
"There's a lot of stuff regarding him and Kate's relationship, there's a lot of stuff regarding his view on the no-shows, his view on drugs, his view on the arrests and persecution, relationships with band members,” Ficek said about Doherty's contribution.
But he added that the book was not just about Doherty, “it’s a book from our perspective as well, about how it affects us."
Ficek told BBC 6Music that he hopes it will give fans an insight into “the euphoric highs and the depressing lows of the band”.
"No matter what veneer we put on this outside it has really dark elements to it, real dark places where you think you're never gonna get out of and then suddenly you're touring arenas and its the most amazing thing in the world,” he said.
Ficek will release his own solo album, under his Roses, Kings, Castles guise, on October 6th. A new Babyshambles project is expected in the new year.
