Barack Obama And John McCain Unveil Favourite Songs Ever
Share

Presidential hopefuls Barack Obama and John McCain have each unveiled their top-ten favourite songs ever.

In what are two very different lists, Frank Sinatra was the only musician that both candidates agreed on - with Mr Obama choosing Sinatra's 'You'd Be So Easy To Love' and McCain selecting 'I've Got You Under My Skin'.

Fugees 'Ready Or Not' topped Mr Obama's list, while 'Dancing Queen' by Abba is Mr McCain's favourite song.

Overall, Democrat Mr Obama selected a far more diverse collection of musicians, ranging from Bruce Springsteen's 'I'm On Fire' to 'Touch the Sky' by US rapper Kanye West.

While a song by Neil Diamond and Beach Boys' 'Good Vibrations' appeared in 71-year-old republican John McCain's top-ten.

Both lists, which appear in Blender, show how important music has become in each politicians bid to become America's next president in November.

You can see all the musicians who have supported Mr Obama in our gallery HERE.

  • Wow... This article was pretty obviously biased toward Obama. Any Billy Joel? Nope... Simple Plan? nope... MJ? Nope... POISON!?! STILL NO!!! Okay Obama wins for having U2, but both lists kinda stink. McCain for ’08 everyone!!!
