Producer Mark Ronson has signed The Rumble Strips to his record label, Allido Records, it's been announced.
In addition to the deal, which ties the band in with Universal Records, Ronson also confirmed that he will produce their second album.
The record, which will be the follow-up to 2007's 'Girls and Weather', is due to be released in early 2009.
In a statement, Ronson said he discovered the band after they covered Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black', which he produced.
“I picked up their album and fell in love with it. Then I decided I wanted to sign them to my label and work on their next album," he said.
"It was really as straight forward as that. We're all very excited about this."
