Metallica are to launch their own radio station to coincide with the release of their new album ‘Death Magnetic’.
Mandatory Metallica will begin broadcasting on August 16th and will feature songs from the band’s huge song library.
Members of the band will also host shows on the XM satellite station during its six week run.
It’s expected that members of Guns’n’Roses, Slipknot and Linkin Park will also make special appearances on the station.
‘Death Magnetic’, the band’s long awaited new album, is released worldwide on September 12th.
