An employee at a New York night club which recently held a party for Lil' Kim has apparently confessed to the killing of a woman at the venue.
The body of Ingrid Rivera was found in a utility closet at the Spotlight Live club on Wednesday, three days after Lil Kim celebrated her birthday at the club.
The identity of the employee has not been made public by police.
Speaking to the New York Daily News yesterday, the woman's mother said: "My only daughter. I have no more daughter. I was a single mother for all my life. I work hard for her."
A spokesperson for Lil' Kim told the Associated Press that Wednesday night was "the first Lil' Kim has heard of this matter."
