The first incarnation of Metallica (l-r: James Hetfield, bassist Ron McGovey, Lars Ulrich and guitarist Dave Mustaine). The band formed in California in 1981 after Lars Ulrich posted an advertisement in Los Angeles newspaper The Recycler which simply read: "Drummer looking for other metal musicians to jam with Tygers of Pan Tang, Diamond Head and Iron Maiden." James Hetfield answered before they recruited Mustaine and then Ron McGovney for their debut live show in March 1982.

- Amazing timeline!!! METALLICA RULES ALL!!!

- Page 3 - McGovney wasn\'t duly kicked out", he was only a temporary bassist and had no plans on staying with the band.
Page 6 - The name of the song is \'For Whom the Bell Tolls\'
Page 29 - The Rob contributing more quote.... Jason contributed a WHOLE lot for TBA but Robs input was more accepted by the control freaks Hetfield and Ulrich.

- Metallica suck ass

- I also like how they pretend Dave Mustaine was gone before Kill’m All was recorded.

- #10, screw you, ...And Justice For All was their best album by far! faggots.
