Liam Gallagher pays tribute to his Beatles hero John Lennon on Oasis's new album, 'Dig Out Your Soul', it's been reported.
It's understood that the ballad 'I'm Outta Time', which has been written by Gallagher, features an extract from an old interview with Lennon.
The song is also already a contender for a future single.
“Liam has so much passion for the subject,” a source told the Sun newspaper. “He’s obsessed. That’s why the song is so brilliant and poignant.”
'Dig Out Your Soul' is due to be released on October 6th and will be preceded by the single 'The Shock Of Lightning', which is out on September 28th.

- You can hear an extract of I\'m Outta Time on Lord don\'t Slow Me Down, an acoustic version, and it sounds miles better than Songbird. It\'s easily gonna be his best song to date.
