Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler says he plans to unveil his most “outrageous stories” in his forthcoming autobiography.
Tyler, who recently spent time in a rehab facility in America, will release the as-yet-untitled memoires through the publishers Ecco, an imprint of HarperCollins, next year.
In a statement, the singer said the book will contain “all the unexpurgated, brain-jangling tales of debauchery, sex and drugs, transcendence and chemical dependence you will ever want to hear.”
“And this is not just my take, this is the unbridled truth, the in-your-face, up-close and prodigious tale of Steven Tyler straight from the horse's lips."
Last month, Tyler was treated for addiction problems which had arisen after began to take narcotics for a foot problem.
