Police are investigating after the body of a woman was discovered in a New York nightclub which recently hosted a party for US rapper Lil' Kim.
Ingrid Rivera's body was found yesterday (August 6th) in a utility closet at the Spotlight Live club.
Rivera, 24, was reported missing by her mother, Ingrid Estrada, on Tuesday, two days after Lil' Kim's party at the club.
It's understood that Rivera had attended the party, which was being held to celebrate the rapper's birthday.
Speaking to the New York Daily News, Ms Estrada said: "My only daughter. I have no more daughter. I was a single mother for all my life. I work hard for her."
A spokesperson for Lil' Kim told the Associated Press that Wednesday night was "the first Lil' Kim has heard of this matter."
Police currently have no suspects in the matter, and have yet to confirm reports that said Rivera had been beaten with a blunt object.
