Pete Doherty Takes Girlfriend On Camping Trip

Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has reportedly taken his new girlfriend, Portia Freeman, on a nomadic camper van holiday around the British Isles.

The pair embarked on their trip yesterday (August 6th) and will take in Doherty's home county of Wiltshire before travelling to Dorset, Devon and Cornwall.

As previously reported on Gigwise, the pair were together earlier this week outside Jazz After Dark in London's Soho district.

A taxi driver refused to take the pair to their hotel after he recognised who Doherty was.

Their apparent relationship follows Doherty's recent claim that he hadn't had a proper romance since he split with supermodel Kate Moss last year.

The singer said he was not yet over the model.
