Dr.Dre’s brands of cognac and vodka are due to arrive at liquor stores within the next 60 days.
Drinks America Holdings Ltd announced that the spirits would be part of Wilton, Conn.-based Drinks America and Dr. Dre's Interscope Geffen A&M Records label, a unit of Universal Music.
The vodka will come sparkling and comes in an 80-proof flavoured form.
The releases will co-incide with Dre’s first album in nearly ten years, the ironically titled ‘Detox’.
Other famous Americans to bring out their own alcohol brands include American billionaire Donald Trump and country musician Willie Nelson.
