Woman Found Dead At Kendal Calling Festival

A twenty-year-old woman has died of a suspected drug overdose at this year’s Kendal Calling.

Although it hasn’t been diagnosed exactly what triggered the death, Katie Jones is reported to have reacted badly to a substance.

The Cumbria festival was Jones’ first. Her friends told press that she wasn’t a regular drug user. Speaking on the incident, her Father described it as “every parent’s nightmare”

The Kendal Calling line-up included British Sea Power, Super Furry Animals and Dizzee Rascal.

The official Kendal Calling website has yet to publish a statement on the incident.
