Joss Stone is to make her TV acting debut in the third series of the BBC drama The Tudors.
Stone will play Anne of Cleves in the popular period programme, which focuses on the reign of Henry VIII, played by Jonathan Rhys Myers.
It's not the first time that the singer has turned her hand to acting. In 2006, she made her debut in the fantasy film Eragon.
Stone, who proved at this years Brit Awards that she is good at putting on an American accent, is also scheduled to appear in a new film, entitled Snappers.
The singer plays a lesbian entertainment manager in the film, and has also produced the score.
