Metallica’s eagerly awaited new studio album will be released worldwide on September 12th.
The album, the follow-up to 2003’s ‘St Anger’, will be preceded by the single ‘The Day That Never Comes’, which the band have shot a video for alongside The Celebration director Thomas Vinterberg.
In a message on their website, Metallica said announcing the release date was “the last piece of the puzzle.”
As previously reported on Gigwise, as well as traditional formats, the album will also be released simultaneously on the next edition of Guitar Hero.
The band also confirmed this week that they would play two club shows in Berlin and London this September. For more details, CLICK HERE.
