US rapper Kanye West has denied that he’s to produce Britney Spears next studio album.
In a message on his blog, entitled Clarity Post, West said: ‘I have not signed up 2 do Britney Spears Music.”
He added that from now on his “clarity post” would be “my new thing 2 de-spell all false rumors... short and sweet!”
West is one of a number of musicians to have been linked to Spears new album since her manager, Larry Rudolph, confirmed that she was heading back into the studio.
In a statement last month, Rudolph said Spears was “working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters” who are “very excited about what she's accomplished so far”.
Kanye West made his only scheduled visit to the UK last week to perform at the Global Gathering festival in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
