Be Your Own Pet Break Up

Be Your Own Pet have announced via MySpace that they are breaking up.

Posting the following message via a blog on their band's MySpace page, they said, “We are sad to bring you the news that our upcoming shows in the UK (dates below) are going to be our last as a band.

"We thank you for all your love and support these past few years - its been a blast but the time has come for the 4 of us to go our separate ways”.

The band will play its final date in London on August 26 at Dingwalls.

The last dates for the band are as follows:

Reading, UK, Reading Festival – August 22
West Yorkshire, UK, Leeds Festival – 23
Liverpool, UK, Carling Academy 2 – 25
London, UK, Dingwalls - 26
