Snow Patrol have recorded their new album, 'One Hundred Million Suns', in the same studios as fellow Irishmen U2.
The band's new album, which is the follow-up to 2006's 'Eyes Open', is due out later this year.
Speaking about the project, drummer Jonny Quinn said: "We recorded the album at Grouse Lodge Studios in Ireland and the same studios in Berlin (Hansa) where U2 recorded 'Achtung Baby'.”
He also explained that it's “very much melody-based, but it's different too in ways from the other albums.”
“It's hard to know what everyone will make of it but we’re happy. I'd go as far as to say I think it's our best album yet," he told the Belfast Telegraph.
Snow Patrol are expected to play some intimate dates in support of the album before Christmas this year.
