George Michael continued his farewell tour in America last night (July 29th) with a sold-out performance at the Verizon Centre in Washington.
Michael was backed by an elaborate stage set as he performed tracks that spanned his career.
The Washington date comes towards the end of the former Wham! stars final tour in the country, which has included two dates in New York.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Michael will bring the tour to the UK next month with two dates in London.
Yesterday, a spokesman for the singer said he had no intention of reuniting with his former Wham! bandmate Andrew Ridgely at the shows, which various tabloids had suggested.
