UPDATE (May 2009): Two Men Sentenced To Death Over Suzanne Tamim Murder
The body of Lebanese star Suzanne Tamim has been found with multiple stab wounds in Dubai, it's been reported.
Tamim's face was also said to be mutilated, although police have yet to comment on the reports.
Tamim shot to fame after winning a talent show in her home country in 1996 and was widely praised for having the ability to sing both pop and traditional Arabic songs.
But her life became shrouded in mystery, with much debate centred on her relationship with her estranged second husband, Adel Maatouk.
According to the BBC, Tamim left Cairo in 2007 to move to the exclusive Jumeira district in Dubai.

- Excuse me Jamal, yes there may be other problems in the world but once a celebrity dies in North America, it becomes a huge deal.. This is a big deal, especially to be brutally murdered. She is a famous LEBANESE singer and she should be recognized for her life.
