Metallica will play two club shows in Berlin and London this September, it's been announced.
The two shows – in Berlin on September 12th and London three days later – will support the band's new album 'Death Magnetic'.
Explaining their reason for the location of the shows, the band said they “thought it would be cool to hang with a few of our closest friends in some of our favourite cities.”
“We'll be hosting a little bash to celebrate the blessed event of the upcoming addition to the Metallica family/catalog,” they added.
It's not yet been announced in what venues the two dates will take place.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the band's new album will be released both on traditional formats, as well as the next edition of the video game Guitar Hero.
