Amy Winehouse must await the results of a toxicology report before it becomes clear why she suffered a reaction to medication, her father has revealed.
Mitch Winehouse said doctors are still not clear why his daughter fell ill at her home in London last night (July 28th).
As previously reported on Gigwise, Winehouse was taken to hospital by ambulance and kept under observation overnight.
A spokesperson for University College Hospital said this morning that Winehouse was in “good spirits” and had a “comfortable night".
Speaking to the London Paper, Mr Winehouse said “it was very frightening” to see his daughter being taken to hospital.
“But she is with good friends, not hangers-on,” he added.
Last month Winehouse was diagnosed with traces of the lung disease emphysema after fainting at her home.
