Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee wants Hollywood actor Johnny Depp to play him in a new film about the band, it's been reported.
Lee apparently believes Depp, whose past roles include the Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean, would be able to portray his persona perfectly.
"Johnny Depp would be my choice to play me. He's the best (actor) ever,” he said.
"We're working on the film, trying to find the right producers and director and all that sort of stuff."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Motley Crue are currently touring on Cruefest, which also features Papa Roach and Buckcherry.
